NATIVE PRAISE
Sometimes recording projects come along and from the very start you know it will be a very special event. This was one of those projects. Native Praise is a choir of approximately 100 women of Native American decent. The songs are traditional hymns, unaccompanied, with lead singers rather than a director, sung in the languages of the Five Civilized Tribes of Oklahoma. A true spiritual journey guided by the matriarchs of their Native American people.

STAR OF TRAGEDY – BLEEDING FOR YOU
Rock group Star of Tragedy has produced a strong debut of six originals. The band features two lead vocalists, male and female, which gives them a very diverse sound. Be on the look out for shows through out the Midwest.

As the title for her new CD says, Selby Brown is onto New Beginnings by starting the fall semester at the prestigious Vassar University School of Music in New York. Selby’s CD demonstrates her powerhouse vocals on a wide range of material. Broadway to country, she delivers the goods. Defying Gravity from the Broadway show “Wicked” is especially strong with help from singer Kylie Esco, these girls give the original soundtrack a run for its money.

The Band features Adam Aguliar, lead vocals and guitar; Austin Sphere, bass (both from Sub Roza); and Brian McMasters, guitars, vocals; and Ryan McMasters, drums (both from Lotus Netti). The EP features a couple of songs that are destined for radio. They’ve got the songs and the live show to go with it. Check out the live clips – lots of fun!
